"Lockup Screen SNS APP Review": YOPE, sharing pictures
I tried this Gen Z photo-sharing app — it was so pretty and fun! I totally recommend it! 😊
Today I tried this app called Yope.
It’s for sharing pictures with your friends — and the cool part? The photos pop up right on your lock screen. You don’t even have to open the app. It just appears like magic.
I think that’s actually really important.
Sometimes I don’t want to go into an app, scroll, tap a bunch of things… I just want to see something nice. Yope lets you do that. In a private group, too.
I tried it myself.
Unfortunately, I don’t have any friends using Yope yet 😅 so I didn’t get the full experience. But I could totally see how fun it would be if you had a group of friends sending photos back and forth.
Also, the app does the grouping for you.
You don’t have to manually select which friends go into which group — it just happens. That’s honestly so nice.
Yope feels like one of those apps that could become really popular soon. It’s simple, fun, and kind of personal in a sweet way.
About YOPE:
It was founded in 2021
They’ve raised $4.65 million so far
There are about 2.2 million monthly active users
And 800,000 daily active users
The team is small — around 11 to 50 people
The company is based in Delaware, with people also working from New York, Miami, London, and Lisbon
Anyway, I’m keeping it on my phone.
Hopefully some of my friends join soon so I can actually use it properly 😄
But even just testing it, I liked the vibe.
